Glory tackle Newcastle Jets at Members Equity Stadium on Sunday with both teams locked on 10 points.

The last time the two sides met in the west it was a 3-3 draw and Mitchell expects fans will see plenty more goal mouth action this weekend.

The coach has also flagged the possibility of a number of changes to the side that won 2-0 against Wellington last Sunday.

Dino Djulbic will miss with an ankle strain while a number of tactical moves are being considered.

Mitchell said: “Our home form has been very good and we want to continue that.

“There will be a few changes this week, some are forced and some will be tactical. We have a great feeling around the club and everyone wants to be part of that.

“We’ll be going all out to win the match and I have the utmost confidence that each and every player will be busting a gut to keep our form on the up.

“It has been great to reward our loyal supporters who have got behind the team and I hope they’re with us again this week in what I think will be a great game to be a part of."

Defender Hayden Foxe will be monitored closely as he works to overcome hamstring soreness that kept him sidelined last week.

Of the Jets, rocked this week by Edmundo Zura's exit and news of Jade North's departure for North Queensland Fury next season, Mitchell said: “Let’s not forget they’re the reigning Hyundai A-League Champions.

"They’ve had some movement in their squad and brought in some excellent young players and as a team they’re showing signs of finding their feet so it’ll be a difficult game.

“It’s a big game for both clubs, a win will take us above them and that’s the direction we want to be heading.”
