NEWCASTLE Jets star Stuart Musialik has been cited to appear before a disciplinary hearing after an incident in the weekend's game against Melbourne Victory.
Musialik was involved in a flare-up with Victory defender Roddy Vargas when the Jets star is alleged to have made a potentially racist remark.
Now the goal hero - who scored Jets' second in their 2-2 draw with Melbourne - has been called to explain at a hearing on Thursday.
"Football Federation Australia today cited Newcastle Jets player Stuart Musialik to appear before a disciplinary hearing on a charge of using offensive or insulting or abusive language and/or gestures during the Hyundai A-League 2007/08 Round 5 match at EnergyAustralia Stadium on Friday 21 September 2007," the FFA said today.
"Musialik will answer the charge at 5pm (AEST) on Thursday, September 27, 2007 at the Football Federation Australia Headquarters in Sydney."
