Nike has announced the special edition Neymar Jr. Mercurial Vapor Speed Freak boots, with the Brazilian star set to wear the boots for the upcoming season. 

The boot comes with a new colourway for the Mercurial Vapor boots with a metallic silver upper and features a red and black checkered flag design from the underfoot up to the medial side.

The auto-racing colourway is a nod to Neymar's high-speed style of play, and his own love for motorsports and racing.

Neymar Jr's signature is included on the tongue of the laces as well as the inner sole of the boot. 

The heel of the boot is full of Neymar's own mantras, including the legendary number 10 that he wears for the Brazilian national team.

The number 10 is accompanied by graphics from past boot models, and Neymar's personal mantras such as "Sonho Dourado", "Alegria", "IV", and "Shhh".

The PSG star has been heavily linked with a move back to Barcelona, with the Brazilian potentially lining up at the Camp Nou in these boots.
