Whispers from inside the Victory camp suggest that they are looking at dumping their disappointing Costa Rican import Carlos Hernandez in favour of out-of-favour QPR midfielder Nick Ward. Olyroo Ward has made little impact since his move to Loftus Rd at the end of Season 1 of the A-League and a managerial change has not helped his cause. His form has been indifferent in the few opportunities he has had in the QPR starting eleven, and worryingly his Olyroo performances also seem to have taken a dip. No doubt Ward will be sounded out by more A-League clubs in the days to come.
