Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he has not yet agreed a new contract with Real Madrid, though talks are currently ongoing.
The 28-year-old has scored 201 goals in 199 appearances for the Spanish club since joining them from Manchester United in 2009, but has been recently linked with a return to Old Trafford.
However, the club's president Florentino Perez earlier this week suggested that he hopes to make the attacker the highest-paid footballer in the world.
And, prior to featuring in Portugal's 1-0 win over Russia on Friday, Ronaldo has hinted that a deal which will see him stay in Madrid is currently in the offing.
He told Reuters: "I know that we will soon reach an agreement. I am feeling very well. I'm calm and not too worried about it."
Ronaldo's Portugal team-mate Nani has also remained coy on his Manchester United future, insisting he does not yet know where his future lies.
He told RTP: "I have not yet decided where I am going or if I am going. In the next few days I will decide my future."
It is thought that the winger could be set to leave United following the arrival of new manager David Moyes.
