VITEZSLAV Lavicka admits Sydney FC can kiss goodbye to any hopes of success this season if they cannot find a way to break their growing goal drought.
The Sky Blues failed to find the target yet again as they crashed 1-0 to fellow strugglers North Queensland Fury last night - courtesy of a goalkeeping howler from Ivan Necevski.
Having conceded four against Central Coast, crashing 1-0 at home to Brisbane and now the reverse in Townsville, the table makes for grim reading for FC and their fans.
"I think in general play, especially in the first half we played pretty well, but our biggest problem this season and the last three games is productivity," Lavicka told AAP.
"Without the goals we have no chance of being successful."
Lavicka wasn't too disappointed with his team's overall display in Townsville but he stressed again that performances count for nothing if there is no end product.
He added: "This is a big disappointment for all of us. We still have a target and a season goal and without the points we have no chance to climb up."
