The defender is currently away with the Olyroos but a report in the The Sunday Telegraph says the Turkish side is one of two clubs chasing his services.

North has a year left to run on his current deal with the A-League champions but has made no secret of his desire to try his luck abroad.

He made his intentions clear back in February after being part of the side that secured a point in China.

He said: "A game like that (China) can open up doors you know. I think it’s time for me to go and I just feel I’m ready to go. My next step, my next challenge is to go overseas. I don’t think Con (Jets owner Con Constantine) will stand in my way.”

The defender made a big impression during Super June and is now firmly part of the senior international set up.
