A few cheap penalty shouts and a couple of guilt-edged chances couldn't separate the sides at HBF Park, Perth Glory hanging onto first by a whisker with a 0-0 draw against Adelaide United.

Failed to hold onto a couple of average efforts, nearly costing his team.
Alex Grant - 8
As Adelaide pushed forward, his physicality became important and the big fella put in a determined shift. Finally showing the potential he once had at Stoke City under the defensive nous of Tony Popovic.
Shane Lowry - 8
Very capable defending, especially in the air. Quick to read Isaias' long passes and block off Ryan Kitto's runs down the flank.
Dino Djulbic - 8
Man on a mission in the first 45 minutes, sending a few headers careening over the bar and forcing Paul Izzo into a decent save. Lost his head a little in the second.
Ivan Franjic - 6
He didn’t push forward as effectively as he can and became increasingly anonymous.
Jason Davidson - 6
After the season he’s had so far, the first half was a little disappointing. He mopped up well defensively in the second but was left frustrated in his forward passing.

This is the sort of quality we want to see from the star Spaniard! Placed a few excellent passes, dictated tempo, involved in nearly everything. Played so well the referee even ignored a clear penalty. Gave the ball away a few times late on, but we'll chuck it down to fatigue.
