New Zealand’s World Cup dream is over after falling 2-0 to Peru in Lima.
Peru has secured the final spot in the Russia 2018 World Cup after a dominant victory.
The Kiwis drew 0-0 in New Zealand in the first leg but failed to fire when it counted most.
Peru took an early 1-0 lead in the 28th minute and it was one-way traffic from there.
Peru hadn’t qualified for a World Cup since 1982 despite being ranked 10th in the world.
More to come.
