CENTRAL Coast Mariners and Young Socceroos custodian Andrew Redmayne has linked up with Sheffield United for pre-season.
The highly-rated youngster has landed in Yorkshire for a spell as he looks to widen his experience and get a taste of life with the Mariners sister club.
Redmayne has already been handed a chance to impress and he came off the bench as the Blades won 4-3 at Sheffield FC in a pre-season friendly.
He had only been on the pitch a matter of moments when he was forced to face a penalty. The spot-kick flew past him but the youngster did make a stop in the dying moments to preserve United's lead.
United's side also featured Socceroo David Carney.
Redmayne signed a new deal with the Mariners earlier in pre-season.
