Representatives from Roar, Gold Coast United and North Queensland Fury will meet in Brisbane on July 17 where football and fundraising will be the focus in celebration of UNICEF Australia's partnership with Football Federation Australia.

The teams will come together at the city's Sofitel Hotel with Brisbane Roar's UNICEF ambassador Michael Zullo, Frank Farina and Craig Moore among those attending.

There is already plenty of spice building between the teams before a ball has even been kicked as each looks to stake their claim to be kings of the sunshine state.

With the new season just a month away, one bookmaker has Roar as favourites to end the season as Queensland's top team with TAB Sportsbet offering $1.80 for Farina's men to see off the new kids on the block.

Gold Coast United are on offer at $2.80 with North Queensland some way back at $5.50. This follow's yesterday's figures which saw Roar as second favourites to lift the A-League toilet seat with Gold Coast fourth favourites and Fury seventh favourites.

Further details about the launch and how to book a table can be obtained from UNICEF Australia on (02) 9261 2811.
