Robinho returned to Santos today in the company of Pele as he was introduced to a 12,000-strong crowd of supporters.
The Brazilian forward last week completed a loan move from Manchester City to the Brazilian giants, which will keep him in his homeland for six months.
He and Pele arrived at the Vila Belmiro stadium by helicopter this afternoon.
"It's exciting to see the Belmiro so crowded," said Robinho. "I've always had great memories of Santos because I feel at home here. Now I want to repay the crowd with dedication and victories.
"I have come here to help Santos win trophies and get in the Brazil squad."
