Melbourne Victory midfielder Billy Celeski, Melbourne Heart forward David Williams, Adelaide defender Nigel Boogaard, Perth Glory's Josh Risdon, Central Coast Mariners duo Josh Rose and Michael McGlinchey and Wellington Phoenix attacker Paul Ifill have all been picked in the match-day squad to tackle David Moyes' English Premier League champions at ANZ Stadium on July 20.
They join Western Sydney Wanderers contingent Mark Bridge, Ante Covic, Youssouf Hersi, Nikolai Topor-Stanley and Michael Beauchamp, as well as Brisbane Roar's Thomas Broich and Sydney FC's Brett Emerton among the players to be named so far to play United.
Celeski, who is due to take on Liverpool in Victory colours four days after the All Stars game, said it is an exciting time for football in Australia.
"It's going to be fantastic for the A-League and Australian football in general, on the back of qualifying for the World Cup too, it's a great time to be a part of all these occasions," he said.
"I'm really excited about and happy to be a part of it. I think it's just a bonus for me, I really enjoyed my football this season and managed to string all the games together on the park, so I'm just really excited about this game."
Williams meanwhile, despite impressing in spells last term, was very much an outsider to earn representative honours, and admitted he was taken aback to have made the final cut.
"I'm very shocked and surprised but I'm here now and all I can do is try and impress," he said.
When asked if he felt he was in with a chance of making the All Stars team, Williams said: "Honestly, no. I think I could have had a better year. [I'm] slowly improving and hopefully ... next season will be even better.
"All I can do now is give it my all, take in the occasion and try to enjoy it.
"I think we're going out there to get a result."
