NEW-look Central Coast Mariners were due to begin preparations for the forthcoming A-League campaign today and Lawrie McKinna has revealed that further fresh faces are imminent.
The squad was assembling for a team lunch ahead of the hard work ahead, a chance for the new recruits to get to know their teammates.
As ever, McKinna, now in a new role as the Mariners' football operations manager, has been busy keeping the fans updated via his Twitter account and in his latest 'tweet' he said that two new signings will be announced in the next few weeks, but there are no names at this stage.
Once the lunch is over, the boots will be pulled on and Daniel McBreen, Rostyn Griffiths, Joshua Rose, Mustafa Amini, Trent Sainsbury, Sam Gallagher and Marc Warren will get their first taste of life at the Gosford club.
New coach Graham Arnold has been busy checking out potential recruits overseas as he juggles Mariners commitments with Socceroo preparations for the forthcoming World Cup.
