SIENA president Giovanni Lombardi is determined to bring Brazilian forward Ronaldo back to Italy.
The striker has recovered from a career-threatening knee injury and is now considering his future.
"I have spoken to Ronaldo's agent," said Lombardi.
"We have offered him a contract of 100,000 euros per goal scored.
"I am ready to make that sacrifice because Ronaldo's goals could save Siena (from relegation).
"My team plays well, we have a great coach in Marco Giampaolo but we don't score much."
Ronaldo, 32, is a free agent after his contract with AC Milan ended this summer.
The former Barcelona and Internazionale star has been linked with a move to Manchester City, while home club Flamengo are also keen to acquire his services.
Siena lie 13th in the table and have scored just seven goals in nine Serie A games.
