WAYNE Srhoj's impact since joining Perth Glory is expected to see the midfielder rewarded imminently with a new deal.
Srhoj has also been linked with A-League new boys North Queensland Fury but with both player and club enjoying each other's company, Dave Mitchell's men are best placed to benefit.
Srhoj told the Cairns Post: "I’m enjoying it over here, it’s a good club. Now that I’ve got my fitness up over the last month, I’m enjoying it."
He is in his second stint with the club, having been part of Glory's National Soccer League title-winners in 2004.
Since returning to Australia from Romanian football, the midfielder, who belted home a cracking goal against Sydney FC recently, has been impressed with the competition.
He said: "In every league there is good and bad, but the standard of the A-League is very good.
"In Romania it’s a lot more of a technical league, but then you’ve got that over here as well."
In other Glory news defender Dino Djulbic could be about to swap Glory for a new challenge in the German second division.
