PERTH new boys Mile Sterjovski, Jacob Burns and Branko Jelic pull on their Glory kit for the first time today with the marquee man aware big signings come with big expectations.
The trio will hope to feature on Friday night as Members Equity Stadium hosts EPL outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers with Mark Schwarzer's Fulham due at the same venue on July 15.
Dave Mitchell will be expecting big things of marquee recruit Sterjovski but then the player himself is all too aware of the pressures that such a tag bring.
He isn't concerned about that and neither is he afraid to shoulder responsibility.
The former Derby County midfielder told Perth Now: "There is pressure having that role but I've been a professional for a long time now.
"I definitely have thought about (the downside to being the marquee player). But if the team is doing well there'll be less focus on myself. Hopefully I can bring my experience with me and I'll be able to deal with that.
"I understand it's quite an important role, and I'm really determined to make Perth Glory a successful club."
Glory will be hoping their much-talked-about recruitment drive isn't over yet with Mitchell's men still hoping to convince Socceroos defender Chris Coyne to join brother Jamie in the A-League.
