EXCLUSIVE: Football Federation Australia's inbox will be weighed down with official complaints after a weekend of bitter management outbursts.
Newcastle Jets coach Gary van Egmond had a vicious spray at Perth Glory hero Adrian Trinidad last night after the player earned his side a vital last minute penalty to clinch a draw.
And van Egmond's wild-eyed pitchside attack on the player at full-time came just 48 hours after Kosmina infuriated Wellington Phoenix.
Phoenix officials were furious about Kosmina's behaviour following the final whistle to Friday night's 2-1 to Phoenix at the SFS.
Kosmina unleashed a verbal spray at the Phoenix coach in relation to the referee's last minute penalty (a decision video proved correct) against Sydney in the 2-1 win to Wellington.
Phoenix officials have now confirmed Sydney FC CEO Stefan Kamasz will be cc'ed in on an email from Wellington to the FFA about Kosmina's behaviour.
Herbert had to be dragged away from Kosmina by enraged Phoenix officials. Kosmina later said "I don't care" when asked about the incident.
This result was the third time Herbert's side had beaten Kosmina's Sydney in four months. Phoenix defeated Sydney 2-1 in Wellington in round six and came back from two goals down to win 3-2 in the pre-season cup semi final in Wollongong.
Phoenix officials say they'll let FFA know how they feel about Kosmina's actions which they say reflect poorly on the club and the A-League.
Herbert didn't want to comment further on the incident to au.fourfourtwo.com but the unsavoury incident soured Phoenix after-match celebrations at Darling Harbour.
"It's totally disrespectful and we'll let the FFA know," one Phoenix official told au.fourfourtwo.com.
Kosmina later also launched an attack on internet journalists at a tense post match press conference.
The under-fire coach described them as "lunatics who run the asylum" after one talked over his answer to another question.
The unhappy Sydney FC coach also had words with another journalist at the conclusion of the press conference about a story printed earlier in the week.
