EXCLUSIVE: Adam Hett's positive response to his injury nightmare will help Sydney FC's Football Superstar bounce back, says a senior colleague.
The Perth youngster has seen his season ruined by a knee injury sustained in a training game last week. This was just a few days after being unveiled as the winner of the Fox8 television show.
Club insiders say the youngster is keen to begin his recuperation away from the glare of the cameras but striker Alex Brosque has revealed that the early signs are of a player determined to fight for fitness.
Brosque told au.fourfourtwo.com: "We were all gutted when we realised what had happened to Adam.
"He'd come through the whole process to earn his contract with the club and he'd done well when he'd trained with the boys.
"Obviously it's always hard when you have to come to terms with an injury, especially one that's going to put you out for a while, but from what I've seen I think Adam is going to take a really positive approach.
"He's not been moping around and even been cracking a few jokes. I think that's a very good sign.
"It's a case of the lads telling him to keep his head up. He'll be back.
"Adam came through different tests and challenges on Football Superstar and deserved it."
