NEWCASTLE Jets have secured the services of Taylor Regan for the next two seasons with the club insisting it is a reward for the player's consistency during the current campaign.
The club said the signing of Regan, a Dudley Redhead junior, was further testament to the Newcastle Jets vision of nurturing local talent into A-League Stars.
“I am excited to have signed with the club for the next 2 years. Being a local boy from Dudley Redhead I am really proud to be representing my home City.” Regan said.
Jets Chief Executive Officer John Tsatsimas said the club was pleased to see the former junior develop into a consistent A-League performer.
“Taylor formed a key part of our youth team in 2009 and led the side by example as skipper. It is also great to see local Newcastle talent is forging a pathway into our A-League squad and that he is playing the football that we know he is capable of.” Tsatsimas said.
