DANNY Vukovic is touched by the support he has received following his Turkish dream-turned-nightmare - but what he'd appreciate most is a job offer...
The former Central Coast Mariners goalkeeper saw his European switch unravel in disastrous fashion and he is now on the lookout for a new club while the Australian PFA assist him in pursuing compensation for his deal.
"I would look at any sort of offer that comes in at the moment because I need to start playing and I need an income," Vukovic told AAP.
"I haven't had a wage for the last two months and now that my girlfriend's quit her job, the money will run out soon.
"We've got bills, we've got a mortgage, so it's time to start getting paid again."
However, it is finding a new footballing 'home' that is the priority for the ex Olyroo.
"But I'm still left without a club and that's the most important thing for me, not the money," he added.
Vukovic said he had been touched by the supportĀ from his friends, family, former club and Professional Footballers Australia after the Konyaspor deal collapsed.
