THE Federation Football Australia tribunal hearing the latest appeal of Danny Vukovic failed to come to a final decision last night.
The hearing began yesterday afternoon but after hours of debate, it was abandoned and a decisionwill now be announced next week.
The Central Coast Mariners keeper is unable to play at the Beijing Olympics after he was suspended for 12 months after slapping referee Mark Shield's hand during this year's grand final.
A spokeswoman for Football Federation Australia says Vukovic is appealing against both the suspension and its severity.
He presented himself to an appeals tribunal in Sydney last night where video replays of the incident were viewed.
The tribunal will reconvene next week after it reserved its decision last night.
