The A-League will crown its top player for the 2016/17 season when the Johnny Warren Medal is held on Monday night at the Star Event Centre in Sydney.

The Brazilian striker was the runaway premiers' top scorer with 15 goals, with only three coming from the penalty spot. Bobo proved to be a deft finisher, while he also supplied four assists. Netted eight goals in eight games towards the end of the season, once he'd settled in.
