"Additional 37 ambulances will be deployed in Moscow during the FIFA World Cup. They have all the necessary equipment to help patients on their way to the hospital," the office said in a statement published on its official website.

According to the Head of Moscow Healthcare Department, Alexey Khripun, all of the ambulances will continue to operate in the Russian capital after the World Cup matches are over.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be held in 11 Russian cities from June 14 to July 15.

Moscow's 81,000-seater Luzhniki Stadium will host seven World Cup games, including the opening match and the final, while five more matches will be held at the 45,000-seater Spartak Stadium.
