MOSCOW, May 30 (Sputnik) - Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, who arrived in Russia on Wednesday for a working visit, wished Russian President Vladimir Putin luck in hosting this summer's FIFA World Cup.
Borisov also thanked Putin for the chance to visit the Moscow Kremlin, as well as for the opportunity to discuss various topics during their phone conversations.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup will take place between June 14 and July 15. Matches are set to be played at 12 arenas across 11 Russian cities, with the host nation facing Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay in Group A.
Bulgaria finished fourth in their group during the World Cup qualifiers and will not play at the tournament.
