Croatia's fans have displayed a 50-meter-long banner in the center of Moscow, which read in Russian "Thank you, Russia!", the official tourist website for the World Cup said on Wednesday.
Later on Wednesday, Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium will host the semi-final match between Croatia and England, with the kick-off set for 21:00 Moscow time.
It will be Croatia's second semi-final since 1998 when they claimed the third place in their first-ever FIFA World Cup as an independent nation after the break-up of Yugoslavia in 1992.
Croatian supporters already unfurled a similar banner in the Russian city of Kaliningrad on June 16 before their national team's group-stage match against Nigeria.
