According to the press service, more than 20 Russian and foreign bands, singers and DJs, including Oakenfold, will perform at the Fan Fest. located in Saransk's central square, from June 12 to July 15. Dutch vocalist Eva Simons will headline the closing ceremony.

The fan zone in Saransk, around 320 miles southeast of Moscow, has a capacity of 20,000 people. The visitors will be able to watch the World Cup games on a huge screen installed there.

Admission to the fan zone is free of charge, and no FAN ID is required to be granted access.

Russia will host its first World Cup from June 14 to July 15. The fixtures will be played at 12 stadiums across 11 cities, with the 45,000-seater Mordovia Arena set to host four matches, including a game between reigning European champions Portugal and Iran on June 25.
