"When big politicians come here we don't talk politics we discuss football. We try to talk about football with all of the heads of state. That's what we were talking about during the previous matches,"  Infantino told journalists.

The FIFA President added that the world leaders were humans like everyone else and they just wanted to relax and enjoy football when attending the games.

"If I tell one [head of state] that his team will score, than the other one will become upset with me. I'm like a referee in the moments like this... Of course, everything is very diplomatic and no one will take offense. They are all people like you and me and they want from time to time to relax, have a laugh and watch football, too," Infantino said.

This summer's tournament will come to a close on Sunday, with France taking on Croatia in the final, which will be played at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium.
