MOSCOW, May 30 (Sputnik) - Germany defenders Joshua Kimmich and Antonio Rudiger, who are currently training in Italy with the rest of Germany's preliminary FIFA World Cup squad, had a fight during the team's training session, German media reported.
According to an article published by the German tabloid Bild on Tuesday, the players started to squabble after a rough tackle, forcing former Germany striker Miroslav Klose, who is currently a member of the team's coaching staff, to intervene.
Before heading for this summer's FIFA World Cup in Russia, the German squad are set to play warm-up friendlies against Austria on June 2 and Saudi Arabia on June 8.
Russia’s first-ever FIFA World Cup will take place from June 14 to July 15 in 11 host cities. Reigning champions Germany will take on Mexico, Sweden and South Korea in Group F.
