Sweden defender Andreas Granqvist said on Saturday that he appreciated the organization of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
England beat Sweden 2-0 in Samara on Saturday and are through to the semi-finals, while Sweden have been eliminated from the tournament.
"The World Cup in Russia has been organized fantastically, I'm not exaggerating. Sweden were training in perfect conditions in Gelendzhik. All Russian stadiums are just perfect. I'm happy that now Russia have such wonderful conditions for football. I spent quite a lot of time in your country, so I know what I'm speaking about," Granqvist told journalists.
The 33-year-old moved to Russian Premier League side Krasnodar in August 2013 and played there until the beginning of 2018 when he joined Helsingborgs IF.
