Sweden defender Andreas Granqvist said on Saturday that Russia were capable of winning the 2018 World Cup.
Sweden lost 2-1 to England in Samara on Saturday and were eliminated from the tournament, while England qualified for the semi-finals, where they will face either Croatia or Russia at Moscow’s Luzhniki Stadium on Wednesday.
"Russia can even win the World Cup. Let's see who wins. The opponents at this stage are very strong. Belgium play on fantastic level, the French team are also good. All semi-finalists have good chances to win here," Granqvist told journalists.
