Four-time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton thanked England's squad for qualifying for the World Cup semi-finals on Saturday.
England beat Sweden 2-0 in Samara on Saturday and are through to the first semi-final since 1990 where they will face either Croatia or Russia.
Hamilton won the record sixth pole position at the British Grand Prix on Saturday. The racing driver earlier said that he would attend the final match of the World Cup if England played there.
"Pole and goals!!! An awesome day for English sport! Huge thanks to the Team for their hard work as always. Today we celebrate, tomorrow we continue the fight," Hamilton said via his official Twitter account.
