Indonesian Ambassador to Russia and Belarus Wahid Supriyadi told Sputnik on Friday that numerous Indonesian nationals would travel to Russia for the World Cup, despite his country not taking part in the tournament.
“Indonesia do not participate in the World Cup. I can’t tell you the exact number of Indonesian tourists who will come to Russia for the World Cup, but I know for sure that there will be many of them,” Supriyadi said.
Russia's first-ever World Cup will take place between 14 June and 15 July at 12 stadiums across 11 cities.
