According to the Mexican channel Uno TV, the bus set off aboard from the Mexican port of Altamira in late April and arrived in Germany one month later. The Mexicans and their foreign supporters, who joined them in Europe, took a bus trip to Russia.

One of the crew members Fernando Osorio said that the bus was equipped with everything necessary for life, including beds. He added that such a trip was cheaper for Mexico supporters as they did not need to rent a hotel.

The bus is named 'La Bendición' (the Blessing) and painted in the Mexican flag's colors, red, green and white. It has crossed the distance of more than 9,900 miles [16,000 kilometers], including its ocean lane, before arrival in Moscow.

The crew members plan to attend the World Cup opening match between hosts Russia and Saudi Arabia on June 14.

The games of the 2018 FIFA World Cup will be held at 12 stadiums across 11 Russian cities till July 15. Mexico have been drawn to Group F alongside defending champions Germany, Sweden and South Korea.
