MOSCOW, May 31 (Sputnik) - More than 460 people were blacklisted by Moscow authorities ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup and did not get their FAN IDs, head of Moscow's Security and Anti-Corruption Department Vladimir Chernikov said Thursday.

"We assume that those who were banned from attending matches will not be able to visit the [World Cup] games. We have an accurate list, with 467 people on it at the moment, including, unfortunately, 157 Muscovites. All of them were refused FAN IDs," Chernikov said at a meeting in the city's parliament.

"Of hooligans, and I highlight this, because we are not going to fight fans. On the contrary, we will help and encourage so that everything goes in a friendly and peaceful manner," Chernikov said.
He also said that the World Cup host stadiums were equipped with facial recognition security systems allowing to identify the fans.
