Moscow's public transport is fully ready for this summer's FIFA World Cup, Deputy Head of Moscow's Transport Department Dmitry Pronin said on Friday.
"Moscow's transport is fully prepared for the World Cup. As of today, we can fully provide comfortable transportation to tourists and fans," Pronin said.
He added that from 800,000 to one million fans were expected to come to the Russian capital during the tournament.
According to Pronin, more than 5,000 taxi drivers have obtained voluntary accreditation enabling them to work at the World Cup, while public transport conductors were undergoing additional training, which includes English courses.
