Henry, who played for the likes of Monaco, Arsenal and Barcelona, won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 title as part of the French national team.

"I don’t know if Thierry Henry would sing "La Marseillaise" [France’s national anthem]. I don’t think it’s bad if he sings, it’s normal. Tomorrow’s match will be difficult for him but that’s his job. He’s on the Belgium team now," De Bruyne said.

He added that his team is "nervous" ahead of the game because they made it this far at the World Cup, and that "showing their ambition to win" plays an important part in their success at the tournament.

Russia's first-ever FIFA World Cup will come to an end on Sunday, with the final set to be held at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium.
