The IBC was opened earlier on Saturday in the Russian capital. A total of 196 broadcasters will work there during the World Cup and will be transmitting their video material to a total of 212 countries.

"Journalists and visitors to the IBC can use the regular services of the Russian Post in order to send domestic and international correspondence (letters and postcards), packages and EMS mailings," the company said in a statement.

Visitors to the IBC will also have the opportunity to buy various postcards, stamps and souvenirs of the 2018 World Cup, the company added.

Russia will host the 2018 FIFA World Cup for the first time from June 14 to July 15, with the games set to be held in 11 cities across the country.
