"Over 100 cultural, sporting and entertainment events are planned for the residents and guests of Volgograd during the 2018 World Cup, including exhibitions, installations, premiers, concerts, opera etc," the Administration said in an official statement.

Folk and jazz bands, circus performances and other forms of entertainment will be available in Volgograd's central park.

The 45,000-seater Volgograd Arena will host four group-stage matches. Tunisia will play England on June 18, Nigeria will face Iceland on June 22, Saudi Arabia will play against Egypt on June 25 and Japan will take on Poland on June 28.
