MOSCOW, June 13 (Sputnik) - More than 20 heads of state will attend the 2018 FIFA World Cup opening match between hosts Russia and Saudi Arabia, which will take place in Moscow on Thursday, the CEO of the Local Organizing Committee, Alexey Sorokin, said Wednesday.
"I can only say that more than 20 [heads of state are expected]. It's normal, the heads of state always have a great interest for the opening match and for the finals. It's great that high-ranking guests, who will enjoy the football and, I hope, the victory of the Russian team, will come," Sorokin told Sputnik.
