"As part of the project we designed more than 190 road signs, those are familiar road signs on a white background. Also upon the recommendation of the FIFA Organizing Committee [we] designed 30 designated information boards with a yellow background. These are large constructions servicing the clients groups by providing information on designated parking lots, checkpoints, cargo control offices etc. A total of 220 signs," Sigaylov told journalists.

He added that white background signs in Russian and English would show directions to 31 sites determined by the FIFA Organizing Committee, including airports, train stations, stadiums, training grounds and hotels.

The client groups include the FIFA Organizing Committee, World Cup personnel, teams, accredited media and transport services.

Russia's first-ever World Cup will be held between June 14 and July 15 at 12 arenas in 11 cities across the country.
