MOSCOW, July 16 (Sputnik) - More than 310,000 Moscow metro passengers watched the 2018 FIFA World Cup final on screens installed in the trains, the press service of Moscow's Transport Department said on Friday.
France beat Croatia 4-2 in the final at Moscow's Luzhniki Stadium to lift their second World Cup trophy.
"The screens were installed in order to quickly inform passengers... More than 310,00 metro passengers have watched the final match," the press service said.
Russia's first-ever FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and came to a close on Sunday with 64 games played in 11 cities across the country.
