YEKATERINBURG, June 24 (Sputnik) - A total of 32,572 attended the FIFA World Cup match between Japan in Senegal in Yekaterinburg on Sunday.
The game ended in a 2-2 draw.
A total of 27,015 fans watched Uruguay beat Egypt 1-0 in Yekaterinburg, while the highest attendance of 32,789 fans was registered for France’s 1-0 win against Peru.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup kicked off on June 14 and will continue until July 15, with the matches being played in 11 cities across Russia.
