"He [Glik] will return to the team base [in Warsaw] and will go through additional tests. We will decide afterwards whether he will play at the World Cup," the statement said.

Glik, one of the most-capped players in Poland's World Cup squad, suffered a shoulder injury while performing an overhead kick during the training in early June. He went through a medical examination in France and doctors allowed him to soon return to the training.

Poland were drawn to Group H along with Senegal, Colombia and Japan.
