Russian President Vladimir Putin held informal conversations with a number of foreign leaders, including former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, and other guests of honor during the break in the World Cup final game between France and Croatia.
Sarkozy congratulated the Russian leader on successfully hosting the 2018 World Cup.
Putin also talked with French President Emmanuel Macron, his wife Brigitte Macron, as well as with Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and her family, and Moldovan President Igor Dodon.
In addition, the Russian president talked with famous Irish mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor.
