Russia were held to a 1-1 draw by Turkey in Moscow on Tuesday in their final warm-up match ahead of the World Cup, with the result extending their winless streak to seven games.

"I haven't been reading the criticism and media in general recently. I understand what journalists write. We have the head coach who analyzes our mistakes. We only listen to him and analyze matches. I agree that we played very badly against Austria. A little bit better with Turkey. We should get better with every game, and play as a team," Zobnin told journalists.

He added that the squad were training every day and feel pretty confident ahead of their first match against Saudi Arabia at the World Cup.

Zobnin, who is 24, plays for Spartak Moscow in the Russian Premier League and has won 12 Russia caps since his international debut in 2015.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be held in Russia from June 14 to July 15 with the games set to take place at 12 stadiums in 11 cities across the country.

Russia were drawn in Group A and will play Saudi Arabia in Moscow on June 14, Egypt in St. Petersburg on June 19 and Uruguay in Samara on June 25.
