MOSCOW, June 13 (Sputnik) - Russia’s players will wear their home red kit for the opening game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup against Saudi Arabia, the team said on Wednesday.
The World Cup opening game will be held at Moscow's 81,000-seater Luzhniki Stadium on Thursday.
"Russia will play the opening game of the tournament against Saudi Arabia in red kits! The goalkeeper - in green!" the team said via Twitter.
Russia's first-ever FIFA World Cup starts on Thursday and will last until July 15. The host nation will play Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay in Group A.
