"My impressions after Russia's friendly: no impression at all, as there was no play at all. But! Two weeks before Russia's first-ever home FIFA World Cup begins we should support our team and believe in our team. It's the only team we have," Lebedev said via Twitter.

Russia's preliminary squad have been training in Austria since May 21 and are set to head back home later on Thursday ahead of their final pre-World Cup friendly against Turkey in Moscow on June 5.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup will be held between June 14 and July 15. Hosts Russia will face Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay in Group A.
