A high-ranking Swedish minister will mix it with the masses marching to the stadium ahead of Sweden's Round of 16 match against Switzerland.
Sweden will face Switzerland in their round of 16 match at the St. Petersburg Stadium on Wednesday morning (AEST).
"Swedish Minister for Enterprise and Innovation Mikael Damberg will take part in the march of Swedish fans on Krestovsky Island before the match between Sweden and Switzerland," an employee of the Consulate General said.
The minister is also expected to meet St. Petersburg governor Georgy Poltavchenko at the stadium after the march.
