Dvorkovich visited the southern Russian city of Volgograd on Tuesday to inspect the Volgograd Arena along with FIFA Director of Competitions Colin Smith and Governor of the Volgograd Region Andrey Bocharov.

"We drove from the airport to the stadium and I want to thank the region's government for the titanic work of tidying up the city - it looks different," Dvorkovich said as quoted by the region's administration, adding that the stadium became a new attraction in the city.

He also said that all the preparations at the stadium should be completed by the end of the week.

Russia's first-ever FIFA World Cup will take place between June 14 and July 15 at 12 stadiums across 11 Russian cities. The 45,000-seater Volgograd Arena will host four group-stage matches, including the England-Tunisia game on June 18.
